当发生火警时，火源有可能通过入口向储罐内漫延，当火焰通过阻火阀内阻火芯层的狭小孔隙时，由于器壁效应，波纹板吸收大量热源，使热损失突然增大，从而使火焰熄灭。
When the fire breaks out, fire source may spread to the storage tank through the inlet, when the flame passes the small pore of the flame-resistant core layer in the flame arrester, due to the wall effect, the corrugating plate absorbs a great deal of heat, so as to increase heat loss at once, so that the flame is extinguished.
7.安装及维护： Installation and Maintenance
7.1．安装前应对阻火器进行除污处理。
Before the installation, should make decontamination processing for the flame arresters.
7.2．本阻火器可水平安装，也可垂直安装。
The flame arrester can be installed horizontally or vertically.
7.3．可与呼吸阀配套使用，也可单独使用。
The flame arrester can be used with breather valve, and also can be used separately.
7.4．为确保阻火器的性能达到安全使用的目的，对阻火器应定期进行检查、保养。
To guarantee that the performance of the flame arrester to achieve the purposes of safe use, should check and maintain the flame arrester regularly.
7.5．检查发现被堵塞的阻火层芯子应清洗干净，确保芯子上每个孔眼畅通，对于变形或腐蚀的阻火层应更换。
The blocked fire resistant layer core found when check should be cleaned, to guarantee each pore is unblocked, distorted and corroded fire resistant layer should be replaced.
7.6．重新安装阻火层芯子时应保证各接合面严密无泄漏。
When re-install the fire resistant layer core, should guarantee the jointing surfaces are tight and without leakage.
